SOS: el Montseny s'ofega

Over the last 20 years, around 900 hectares of forest have been lost in Montseny, representing 3% of the Natural Park. Less rain, higher temperatures and uncontrolled forest growth are suffocating the forests. The dead trees left behind are the perfect fuel for large fires.

A Quantitative Linguistic Approach to Wittgenstein's Tractus

What can be said at all can be said clearly, and what we cannot talk about we must pass over in silence. Here is my final project for the subject Linguistics in Humanities Bachelor Degree. Like the Divine Comedy, Wittgenstein's first work is strictly calculated. As I read the book, I was very curious to determine whether there was an empirical and quantitative way to know whether the content was strictly related to the continent in Wittgenstein's Tractus.

Barcelona, a city of fines

If you have been fined in Barcelona once, you are not the only one. In 2023 in the Condal city, 901,696 sanctions were imposed, which represent a nominal amount of 98 million euros in fines. It should be borne in mind that this figure represents the total value of the sanctions imposed, not necessarily the final amount collected. The most common fine: speed.

Tracking the rent prices in Barcelona (august 2024)

After 5 years of legislation to protect tenants, Barcelona has paradoxically became one of the cities with the most unstable and expensive rental of Spain. Experts and testimonies point out that temporary rental has become the strategy to avoid laws that limit profitability.

Goethe through data (may 2024)

This was my first Digital Humanities project and my inaugural venture into creating a website with data visualizations and D3 graphics. I conducted an analysis of three different translations of Goethe's 'The Sorrows of Young Werther', combining data visualization techniques with narrative storytelling elements.
